Residents invited to virtual exhibition

Over 900 residents and businesses within 10km of the project site have been sent an invitation to attend an online exhibition for Artfield Forest Wind Farm, held between 24 August - 18 September 2020. Advertisements have also been placed online with the Stranraer & Wigtownshire Free Press and in the Dumfries & Galloway Standard.

Tom Walker, Project Manager for Artfield Forest Wind Farm, said:

“We are continuing to develop our Artfield Forest proposals and we look forward to the public consultation events to help provide feedback on our plans. We would traditionally hold exhibitions in the local area but, due to Covid-19 and current advice regarding holding events, we have moved all our exhibition material online. We will hold live Q&A sessions online and residents can book one to one calls to talk through the plans.

“We have a history of engaging with the community and have confidence that we can still do that despite face-to-face meetings not being possible at this time.”

The link to the exhibition will be available from the home page of the project website www.artfield-forest.co.uk. The invitation included a freepost reply card and an 0800 phone number for those who are unable to participate online. Comments and feedback are requested by 18 September 2020.
