Welcome to our project website for the proposed Artfield Forest Wind Farm.

We have created this website to provide a way for the public to easily access information and contact us when we are unable to be present in the community.

We have submitted a Section 36 planning application to the Scottish Government for the Artfield Forest Wind Farm. The development, located approximately 8 kilometres north-east of Glenluce, is for 12 Wind turbines, with a maximum height of 180 metres to blade tip. Since the Scoping request was submitted in May 2020, the project has reduced from 20 turbines to 12 through the design process and after feedback from the community and statutory bodies.

All planning application documents for the proposed development are available to view in the S36 Planning Application Documents folder. You can also view the Non Technical summary document or a summary presentation in the project documents folder for an overview of the project.

We appreciate that there is a lot of information contained inside the documents, and encourage you to contact us if you would like information on a specific aspect of the project.
