Craig Watch Wind Farm

Welcome.

We first announced our interest in developing a wind farm at this site in November 2020. In March 2021 we exhibited the project at its early stages, and since then we have listened to feedback to shape the development. The number of turbines has reduced from 16 to 11, removing the most visually prominent turbines and protecting peatland habitats. Our second exhibition was held in November to provide an update on current proposals ahead of submitting an application to the Scottish Government in 2022.

We have set up this website to continue a conversation with the local community as the project progresses - please ask us a question or request a call back to find out more about us and the project. Find out more about our development team and Statkraft in the UK.

  • Please can you incorporate the map on this website that is on the literature you mailed out as it's very difficult to read and a version online that can be viewed and expanded so that locals like myself can clearly see the proposed location in relationship to our property?

Hi, and thanks for your message.

Please visit our online consultation (taking place 5-31 March) - the same map that was mailed to homes is reproduced at a larger scale in the project brochure.

In response to your feedback, we have also added a close up version of the site map in the documents folder. If you have a specific location you would like included on a map, please complete the feedback form and include your postcode and email address so we can provide it to you directly.
