Loch Liath Wind Farm Consultation - Thank You

Thank you to all residents, businesses and interested groups who took the time to visit our virtual exhibition and provide feedback on our proposal for the Loch Laith wind farm.

Such events are usually held in local village halls, however due to the ongoing pandemic and keeping within Scottish Government guidelines, our consultation was held online between 21 May - 14 June 2021. The event included opportunities for live Q&A sessions with the project team, a ‘call back’ service to allow members of the public to request a chat with our team at a time suitable to them, and the opportunity to leave comments and feedback online.

We are now assessing all feedback and will respond to each consultee. Please note that anyone who returned one of our freepost reply cards or online feedback who didn't tick the "keep me updated" box means we are unable to respond directly, due to GDPR legislation.

All feedback helps us to shape the final design of the project. We are still at the design phase so any comments received at this stage are very helpful. Although the virtual exhibition has now closed, we still encourage you to contact us and 'Ask a Question' or provide 'Your Feedback'.

The consultation brochure can be viewed here, and the project FAQ's will be updated as the project progresses.

We plan to host another event later this year to provide more information and a refined design - hopefully this will include some face-to-face events, if the pandemic restrictions allow.
