Sheepwash Solar Farm

A 49.9MW solar energy development in Kent

About Sheepwash Solar Farm

Sheepwash Solar Farm was approved by the Planning Inspectorate in February 2024.

This solar project, located between the villages of Claygate and Marden has the potential to generate renewable electricity equivalent to the needs of over 15,000 homes (based on average household consumption of 3,422kWh, BEIS 2020), support the decarbonisation of the local area and contribute to the Government’s target of 70GW solar generation capacity by 2035.

On this page, you will be able to find more details on the project, including updates on our work towards bringing the project into construction and how to get in touch and provide feedback to the project team.
