Car Duibh Wind Farm

Welcome to our dedicated website for Car Duibh Wind Farm.

We have created this website earlier than usual in our engagement process, to provide a way for the public to easily access information and contact us when we are unable to be present in the community.

We held an online exhibition for the project, between Wednesday 14 June and 2 July 2021, and presented more detail about how our proposals had changed since submitting scoping and gave you the opportunity to provide your views on the project via the online feedback form.

The proposals for Car Duibh Wind Farm in Argyll and Bute are at an early stage. Based on our knowledge of the proposed wind farm location, we submitted a Scoping Request to the Scottish Government to consider the potential for a project with up to 26 wind turbines, with a tip height of up to 200 metres.

Through ongoing environmental studies and consultation with communities during 2021 the proposal may reduce in scale during the development period. This website will be updated to keep you informed of how the project may be changing and how it is progressing. There will be plenty of opportunities to view plans and provide your comments throughout the development period too.

We are following all Scottish Government advice in relation to Covid-19 as we progress our plans. Although we are unable to meet you in person at the moment, you can find out more about our development team and Statkraft in the UK.

We have set up this website to continue a conversation with the local community as the project progresses - please ask us a question or request a call back to find out more about us and the project.
