Stargoose Solar Farm
About Stargoose
Stargoose Solar Farm is a renewable energy project that Statkraft is developing on the Childerley Estate in South Cambridgeshire. The electricity generated by this solar farm will be exported to the National Grid and distributed across the national electricity network to power our homes and businesses.
Solar projects such as this one will help to end our reliance on fossil fuels, preventing the worsening effects of climate change whilst providing secure and predicable power, helping us to be energy independent, and keeping our bills more stable.
Once operational, Stargoose will not only provide clean energy, a third of the site will be dedicated to biodiversity and landscape improvements, whilst also bringing local investment.
