Pre-application Consultation

We are proposing a solar farm of approximately 30MW capacity, located between Pembroke and Lamphey.

Following early engagement on the proposals in 2023, we received valuable feedback from the local community, helping us to refine the site layout and plans.

Feedback received during the statutory consultation period will be used to inform the final proposals, which we expect to submit to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) in Winter 2024/2025.

We’ve made some important changes since the early engagement, including:

  • Removing areas of solar panels from fields nearest Lower Lamphey Road and in front of the Grade II listed farmhouse.
  • Confirming the route for diverting the existing public right of way across Alleston Farm.
  • Enhancement of biodiversity areas throughout Alleston Farm
  • Creation of an orchard to enhance the heritage setting of the site.
  • Carried out studies and surveys to allow us to determine the least impactful transport route.
  • Introduced £480,000 Community Benefit Fund over the 40-year lifetime of the project.

All the information that will be available at the exhibitions can be viewed below and in the project documents section of the project website, along with the draft planning application, but we hope you will come along to the public exhibitions to chat through the proposals with members of the project team.

The statutory consultation runs from Tuesday 8 October to Tuesday 19 November 2024.

Community events

As part of our statutory consultation, we will be holding two public exhibitions where you can chat with members of the project team and share your thoughts on our detailed plans.
