Community Liaison Group
A Community Liaison Group will meet regularly throughout construction to share updates and enable community representatives to ask questions and raise issues. The first meeting was held in November 2023. Members of the public are free to attend meetings as observers.
The CLG: At a Glance
Who’s on the CLG?
- Allerthorpe, Thornton, Barmby Moor, Melbourne, and Bielby Parish Councils have been invited to send a representative
- Wolds Weighton Ward Councillors
- A resident from the nearest group of properties
- Statkraft
- Relevant contractors on site
Transparency of the CLG?
- Agendas and minutes will be published on the project website
- Members of the public are free to attend meetings as observers
Who runs the CLG?
- Meetings will initially be chaired and administered by Statkraft. By agreement of the CLG, Statkraft will retain the role of Chair on an ongoing basis
- Statkraft are responsible for the administration of the group, including arranging meetings, issuing agendas and minutes in collaboration with the Chair
