These wireframes and photo montages from a variety of viewpoints were prepared to Highland Council and NatureScot standards for our public exhibitions in November 2023. As of November 2023, the locations of selected viewpoints remain subject to confirmation, pending approval from NatureScot, the Highland Council and other statutory consultees.
We welcome feedback on viewpoint locations, and will be making adjustments based on feedback received at our exhibitions.
Due to their nature, these are large files and are best viewed on a PC or Laptop.
As part of our data gathering for the proposed wind farm, we have submitted an application to The Highland Council for a temporary meteorological mast (commonly referred to as a met mast) to be erected on the proposed site for a period of up to three years. If consented, this will allow us to collect more accurate data on wind speeds and wind directions. At the end of the three years, the met mast will be removed.
This planning application can be viewed on The Highland Council's planning portal reference 24/02379/FUL. Represenations regarding this application should be made directly to The Highland Council.
These studies are carried out as part of the data gathering required for the full Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR), a key part of the Section 36 Application which we are required to submit to the Scottish Government as part of the consenting process.
These surveys have been made available at the request of the local community. Full and final survey data will be published as part of our Application.
Our Scoping Report put forward a scheme of 14 turbines. Following initial feedback, we removed three turbines and adjusted the layout of the remaining eleven turbines to reduce visual and landscape impact. This document provides a comparison between the scoping layout and the layout presented at our exhibition in November 2023.
